“Altogether we have eight of Tracey’s paintings and her work takes pride of place amongst our quite extensive collection of paintings by professional local artists from the Far South Coast region of NSW. Without exception, every piece of art we have acquired from her has passed what my wife and I have come to refer to as the ‘WOW’ factor, hence we are surrounded by lots of WOWs that we continue to get a great deal of enjoyment from.”

In hope of finding a painting by Tracey that we’d seen on a pervious trip to the South Coast, we went in search of her studio gallery. We were delighted to find in pride of place the painting we were looking for - New Moon Rising. We were delighted to meet Tracey and look through her lovely gallery. We love her particular style. It’s great to meet and talk to the artist in their own work environment.

After some discussion we purchased Unique Wilderness and New Moon Rising. Both paintings are a great source of pleasure in our home and we have had many comments on how lovely New Moon Rising is.

We look forward to increasing our collection of Tracey Creighton paintings.

Having never been involved in commissioning a painting before, our experience with Boardwalkart showed this can be a simple, easy and enjoyable experience. We knew what the subject matter for the painting would be but nothing else (medium, style, size, texture). To say we felt lost and confused about getting a piece commissioned would not be an understatement.

Tracey helped guide us in making all the required decisions and to clarify/verbalise what we had in mind as to how the painting should look. Her wide variation in painting styles also made it easy to find a style that was right for us.

At no stage did Tracey try to convince us of changing the subject matter - this was something we had come across when enquiring about doing this commission piece elsewhere. Instead she came up with suggestions and ideas that worked with and enhanced our painting.

The result was a painting that fulfilled our expectations in all respects. It is a piece that has special significance to us and we will enjoy looking at it for many years to come.

The painting that I purchased in memory of my father, "From the heart", looks perfect on the wall of our family room. We located it in the family room so that we would see it every day.

We have also added additional lighting, which brings out all the colours and adds to the beauty of the painting. The painting is giving us a great deal of pleasure and receives glowing comments from friends when they visit.

I first became aware of Tracey Creighton’s artistic ability when I purchase one of her earlier paintings ‘Tranquillity Plus’ which was exhibited in Merimbula. Later I paid a visit to Tracey’s studio gallery, and was impressed with the wide scope of the work exhibited there, the artist extraordinary talent and the way she applied her ideas to the canvas.

Over the ensuing years I bought four more of Tracey’s paintings, which now adorn the walls of my home. Tracey has always been most helpful and willing to give good advice.

Hello Tracey,

We have been meaning to send you photos of your beautiful painting "The Vines" ever since we put it up in our Wanaka home last year, and in particular, after seeing it featured in the magazine you so kindly sent to us.

Many people have seen it and all have commented on how wonderful it is. One of the major comments has been the way the painting fits in just perfectly to the Otago area - the autumn colours, the vines, the mountains. The most common question is: Where did you get that painting? Also, how has it been done? It is certainly not an ordinary painting and the depth of colour is spectacular.

We feel very privileged to own it. Thank you again.

Tracey is a very versatile artist. Visitors to my home comment very favourably on “Raging Waters’, the favourite of the two paintings that I have, as did the framer and visitors to his shop when it was on view. I plan to add to my collection of her beautiful work.

For our 3rd wedding anniversary we stayed in Merimbula. We went for a walk and on our travels and found your studio. Upon walking into a beautiful studio our attention was quickly drawn to a beautiful piece of artwork. It was titled ‘Basking in the Tuscan Sun’. You had just finished it and put it on display that morning. We loved it so much we bought it there and then.

It has been fabulous to get regular updates from you in relation to our piece, and was lovely of you to send us a copy of Australian Artist Magazine when our painting was featured in an article on you and it made the front cover. We are in Italy at the moment and made a special trip to San Gimignano inspired by our exquisite painting.

We will be looking forward to seeing your gallery again and purchasing another painting.

“Marg and I were delighted to discover Boardwalkart on a trip to Merimbula and immediately saw that Tracey’s style would suit our country house. After our disappointment at hearing our first choice had been sold, Tracey offered to come down to get some inspiration for some commissioned works.

This she did and offered us 3 works on differing themes around Lake Glenmaggie, designed for specific areas of the house. We now have two of these works on our walls and both always elicit strong positive views from our guests. I hope she finds time soon to come down and paint for us again.”

"We have purchased three of Tracey's paintings over a period of five years. Art is a very personal thing and Tracey manages her gallery and her business in the same way. She cares about her work and cares about the people who buy her work and that is palpable.

I recently purchased two paintings for my wife as a birthday gift (which I secretly told Tracey about)...imagine my surprise at receiving a bottle of champagne to celebrate her special day as well as our newly purchased artwork carefully wrapped ready for the trip home.

She deserves the success that her talent brings because she understands the warmth, happiness and value of art and friendship"

Our annual Spring holiday at Merimbula is not complete without a visit to Boardwalkart and (hopefully) something to take home as a reminder of great times.

We have two completely different pieces from Tracey and both have pride of place at home. One is an abstract (‘Night Sailing’) and the other a landscape (‘Nature’s Wilder Forces’). We were pleased to see the latter in its final stages of creation and were able to (diplomatically) persuade Tracey to add a little something to it.

What we also like is seeing our artwork converted to greeting cards which we send to our friends on special occasions.
